Chichester is a city wreathed in history. Built by the Romans in
medieval times, much of its remarkable history is still visible
today, giving a cultural backbone to the city's landmarks. In the
city centre, it would be hard to miss the astounding
12th century cathedral, with its beautiful stained glass
windows, intricate stonework and towering steeple. Equally, the
market cross marking the centre of town is a well-loved symbol of
the city. There's a castle too! The remaining walls add to the
charm of Priory Park, close to Graylingwell Park.
